Hey,
Would you like to do a PhD with us?
Emanuele and Graham are happy to consider prospective PhD students for a PhD in Psychiatry.
Prospective students – ideally with some interest and skills in data science and psychiatry – should get in touch in the autumn to agree on potential PhD plans for an application. Please do not get in touch if you have no experience of either fields.
Applications then have to be completed by late November for consideration of funding.
The Department of Psychiatry has a page with an idea of potential projects, however prospective students are encouraged to look at our Lab Projects page, and to read papers which have been published by the group (see here and also links to Google Scholar in the People section).
We also have an open industry collaboration (MRC iCase) project available this year.
Medical students
Our lab also supports Student Selected Components and electives for medical students – have a look at our Lab Projects page and get in touch if your interests align with ours.
Both Graham and Emanuele do clinical work in early psychosis, depression, and neuropsychiatry, and students are welcome to shadow clinics in these settings.
